A Lovely Thank You Card by Linda Palisek

SUPPLIES:
Stamp Sets:

  • A Cardinal Christmas (retiring on Jan. 18th)
  • Elegant Cheer

Cardstock:

  • Old Olive (finished card size 4 ¼ X 5 ½”, 5 X 2 7/8 one side and angled down to 7/8" on the other side)
  • Bravo Burgundy: (5 3/8 X 4 1/8, 5 1/8 X 3 and angled down to 1" on the other side, 3 1/8 X 3 1/8)
  • Holiday Treasures Designer Paper ( 5 1/4 X 4) (retiring)
  • Whisper White: ( 3 x 3)

Ink: Bravo Burgundy Craft Ink

Accessories: Old Olive and Bravo Burgundy Stampin'Write Markers, Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/4" Circle Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch, Silver Brads, Clear Embossing Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Color the branch stamp from A Cardinal Christmas using Old Olive and Bravo Burgundy markers and stamp on top left corner of Whisper White Cardstock. Using the Bravo Burgundy marker, stamp greeting in lower left corner of Whisper White cardstock. Attach white to Bravo Burgundy piece of cardstock and set aside.
  2. Adhere Holiday Treasures Designer Paper to Bravo Burgundy cardstock.
  3. Using the Old Olive marker, color the stamp and randomly stamp on the angled piece of Old Olive cardstock. Adhere to matching piece of Bravo Burgundy cardstock.
  4. To color brads to match project, cover the tops of two silver brads with Bravo Burgundy Craft ink and cover with clear embossing powder. Hold brads with tweezers and heat. Insert brads at top and bottom of left side of Old Olive angled cardstock.
  5. Attach angled cardstock to Holiday Treasures Designer Paper. Using the 1/4" circle punch, punch a hole in the center of the narrow end of the angled cardstock, thread ribbon through this hole and up the side. Tie a bow. Attach to center of card.
  6. Attach stamped image to center.
