Changes to the New Catalogue

Well today has been a BIG day. Stampin' Up! announced the retiring accessory and decor elements. Hold on to your hats because there is a lot retiring. Some of which can be explained as follows
  1. Stampin' Up! will be releasing a smaller yearly catalogue. To make room, they needed to downsize the items in the current catalogue
  2. Some of the items in the current catalogue had "had their day". They are items that are not as popular as they once were.
So what are some of the changes you can expect?
  1. All textured 12 x 12 card stock is being retired
  2. Only some of the smooth 12 x 12 card stock will remain going forward and will be sold as individual colors
  3. All Simply Adorn Jewelry line is being retired
  4. All Definitely Decorative line is being retired
  5. 2010 - 2012 in colors are retiring
  6. Several individual markers will be retired and only a selection will be made available for sale as individuals. Otherwise all markers will be sold by color family
  7. All craft ink pads EXCEPT for White and Black will be retired
  8. All of the large classic ink pads are being redesigned with a "firm foam" (spots will not be changed) Stampin' Up! has indicated that these firm foam ink pads
      • Will provide better ink coverage for your stamps!
      • Requires only a light-tap to produce flawless images!
      • Will stay juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity!
  9. As well, the new "firm foam" ink pads

      • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
      • Come with colour name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)-just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
      • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
      • Are available in all colours, including our exclusive In Colors!
  10. Five classic ink pads have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability
    • Black
    • Grey
    • Tempting Turquoise
    • Marina Mist
    • Perfect Plum
  11. Old reinkers for the 5 listed above should not be used in the new pads
