Perfectly Plaid With Wrapped In Plaid DSP

Inspiration for these cards comes from Laura Buechler
So I didn't think I "needed" this bundle but as you can see, I was wrong - LOL. The Wrapped In Plaid DSP is gorgeous - you will definitely want to add this to your Holiday catalog wish list!
This card features the Night of Navy and Shaded Spruce with a hint of Copper Foil.
For an added touch I used one of the Star Designer Elements which is the perfect size for the tree. Oh and did I mention..... the tree is a punch! Love it!  I used the punch to punch out a tree from the DSP. This card is super easy to make and makes Christmas card making a breeze!
I plan on using this bundle in my 2019 Christmas Card Club that starts Sept. 6/7 (spaces are still available - fill in the Contact Me on the left sidebar to register). Here is another version of the same card. This card I punched the tree through the white layer to expose the DSP below. I think I prefer this because it shows the dimension better (the white layer is adhered with dimensionals).
I am curious as to which one people like better - the navy base or the spruce? Leave me a comment - I would love to hear your thoughts.

  1. Both are very nice but I think I prefer the second one with the punched out tree. Nice effect.

    1. So the base is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
      First layer is 5 1/4" x 4
      Plaid layer 5 x 3 3/4"
White rectangle (stitched rectangle dies from Stampin Up) 4" x 2 3/4"
      Hope this helps!
