Stampin' Dreams Dec Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping Dreams Dec. 2019 blog hop. You are currently visiting For the Love of Stamping (Tracie St-Louis) from Ottawa, Ontario Canada! This months theme is
2020 SAB/Occasion catalog sneak peaks!
For this hop I have 2 projects to show you.

My first project features a stamp & die bundle from the mini catalog. The bundle is called Parisian Beauty (153778) and it features the Eiffel Tower. Now I may have never been to Paris but this last summer my husband and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we stayed at the Paris Hotel. Our view from our room was the Eiffel Tower. So when I saw this bundle I knew I immediately had to have it!
To make this card I have used thick Whisper White card stock for the base. I have then layered Basic Black using a new embossing folder from the mini catalog called Parisian Flourish 3D (151474). Both the Eiffel Tower and the flower accent were cut from dies in that come in the Parisian Die package. I used my trusty Stamparatus to perfectly align the greeting on the strip of Flirty Flamingo card stock. The final touch was adding the gorgeous (new) champagne rhinestones (151193) to the center of the flower. My inspiration for this card came from Windy Ellard

For my second project I am featuring a stamp set (free with a $60 purchase) from the 2020 SAB catalog. The set is called "Happy Birthday To You" (152308) and although is appears as a Birthday stamp I see it being used for weddings & anniversaries as well. For my card I chose to create a Birthday card. The cardbase is thick Whisper White which I then layered an embossed piece of Purple Posy card stock. This layer was embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D (151474) E.F as well.  The image was stamped on Whisper White and die cut using a new set of dies from the 2020 mini catalog called Stitched So Sweetly (151690). The image was colored using Stampin' Blends (Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green, Ivory & Smoky Slate). The finishing touch was to add silver metallic pearls. I chose not to add a greeting on the front, but place it inside the card. The greeting is included in the stamp set.
Both of these cards will be part of my Inspiration Day Extravaganza event on Jan 18th, 2020. Details on this event are here http://bit.ly/34BHN13
I hope you enjoy my cards. Be sure to click the link below to go to the next hop.
