Here is another sample of a card I made after seeing Liz Halloway's concept for using the Bloomin' Heart Framelits in an alternate way. Finding different applications for one item that is pretty much a "stand alone/one off" can be tricky. The strip on the left side of the card was made using the Bloomin' Hearts framelits and the new Blushing Bride glimmer paper. The background was sponged with the Stars & Stripes stencils from SU. Something else Liz did was change the shape of the honeycomb embellishment to a heart shape (from a circle). Awesome idea! You can see Liz's card here. Other new products on my card include the frame behind the greeting ~ another framelit set called Large Numbers. All these products will be available in a very short time - Jan. 5th.
