Here is a really fun fold card. The technique is called "The Impossible Card". Such a cool looking card. The base is made of a 6"x 6" piece of cardstock.
With so many wonderful products retiring at the end of May I wanted to do a card that featured some of those products. This card features: Birthday Blossoms stamp set, Pansy punch, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky & Wild Wasabi ink & cardstock and (my favorite DSP) Delightful Daisy. I love how this card turned out as did my technique stampers.

Another Animal Outing Sample
I wanted to show you another adorable sample I made using the Animal Outings stamp set.
The rhino was colored with the light smokey slate Stampin' Blends. Also used on this card is the Florish Thinlits and the Layered Leaves textured impression embossing folder - it pairs perfectly with this stamp set.

Team TwINKle Belles Get Together

I love getting together with my TwINKle Belles . Life has been so busy for me with my full time job that I haven't had time to spend with them. That will definitely have to change! We got together today to talk about the new catalog, share ideas and craft. Above are the cards that we made. The 1st one using 2 new 2018/19 stamp sets that will be available in June - Animal Outings and Birthday Backgrounds. The Belles got to use the Stamparatus today to make the panel on the left - such an amazing tool!. The 2nd card (cased from Mary Fish) uses Beautiful Bouquet - a lovely stamp set that is carrying over to the 2018-19 catalog and the 3rd card uses Florish Thinlits - also carrying over to the 2018-19 catalog. I am looking forward to our next get together.
If you are interested in becoming a TwINKle Belle, drop me, leave me a comment with you email and I will get back to you. Alternatively, message me on Facebook.
2018 On Stage Event - New Products Coming Soon!
Last weekend I spent the day in London Ont. at an On Stage 2018 event. I really enjoy attending these events. There were about 500 demonstrators in attendance in London. There were simultaneous events held in several other parts of the world! One of the benefits of attending the April event is that attendees are privileged with an advanced copy of the 2018 - 2019 catalog along with prizes and fabulous ideas. One of the stamp sets that we all received was this adorable set called Animal Outings. I think I will be playing a lot with this set!I created a mirror image of the giraffe by stamping the giraffe onto my craft & rubber mat and then laying the cardstock onto to transfer the ink. Although there is a coordinating set of framelits, I am not able to purchase them until the demo preorder begins on May 1st so I cut them out by hand. You too can get this set an more if you join my TwINKle Belles team.
I have used the Stampin' Up! Blends to color the giraffe and check out the fancy laser-cut paper leaves! Check back this week for additional samples.
Quick and Easy Delightful Daisy Birthday Card
I spent an amazing couple of days in London Ontario at the On Stage event. Lots of changes coming with the new catalog including (of course) retiring products. Many of the items on this card will be retiring - sniff sniff
Card details:
This card has been created using Wild Wasabi (retiring) as the card base. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
The side border was created with the Decorative Ribbon border punch and Pool Party cardstock.
I added a layer of my favorite DSP (Delightful Daisy - retiring) and stamped the Stylized Birthday (retiring) in Night of Navy.
This card is quick and easy.
