Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Monthly Blog Hop. this month we are focused on Masculine cards.
It's been way too long since I used the Playful Pets. I fell in love with this bundle when it came out and then got totally sidetracked with all the other amazing products from Stampin' Up!
One of my favorite things is the coordination between the dies and the designer series paper. It makes crafting super easy and quick. For example, on my card, the pup was die cut from the DSP.
My card pairs together the Pets and the Happy Birthday Chick dies. To make this card you will need the following:
- Basic Grey, Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Basic White cardstock.
- Playful Pets DSP
- Hey Birthday Chick, Stitched Shapes and Pets dies
- Painted Textured 3D embossing folder
- Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush (or sponge)
Steps:
- Start by running the Balmy Blue cardstock through your die cutting machine with the Painted Textured EF and adhere the layer to the Basic Grey card base.
- Then die cut a stitched circle and sponge some Balmy Blue ink in the center. Adhere to card base.
- Die cut 2 of the fences from the Hey Birthday Chick dies and adhere together. Then adhere to the center of the stitched circle.
- Die cut the pup from the Playful Pets DSP and adhere with dimensionals.
- Die cut the sentiment from the Hey Birthday Chick dies - one in black and the other in Basic Grey - adhere together (off set) and then adhere to your card.
Thank you for hopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my project. Be sure to continue onto the next blog!
