Soaring Swallows

 

Feb 13th, 2022: .... Today is Sunday and it is bitter cold here in Ottawa Canada. I needed something summery to remind me that the snow and cold will be gone (hopefully) soon!!  I am sharing with you today this new stamp bundle from the Jan. to June 2022 mini catalog. Soaring Swallows can be found on page 46. I fell in love with this bundle the moment I saw it.

I started with a basic white base and layered balmy blue on top (which I had stamped some of the swallows in Versamark first). I die cut a stitched scallop frame (Scalloped Contour dies) and created a cloud background (Basic Border dies) with balmy blue ink. 

The branch, flowers and swallows were all die cut from the Swallow dies and adhered. The greeting was stamped in night of navy and finished with a tiny triple loop pool party sheer ribbon bow.
