Fun fold pop up cards are fun to make and even more fun to receive. Here is a unique idea. This 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card features a split open front with a pop up toolbox full of die cut tools from the Trusty Tool stamp & dies.
The card base was cut from the new Basic Beige cardstock and then layered with Country Woods DSP. I am loving this DSP and I think you will too! The base is 5 1/2" W by 7 1/2" long, scored on the long side at 5 1/2".
The center pop up (toolbox) has been cut from Basic Beige at 11" x 3 1/2". I scored along the long edge @ 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 5 3/4", 6 1/4", 6 3/4". Then on the short edge at 1/2". To form it into a 3 dimensional toolbox, first you need to cut away the 3 small squares on the bottom left of the long edge of the cardstock and then the 2 middle squares along the same edge. You can then burnish and fold the cardstock into a box. The 2 flaps on the bottom of the box will straddle the fold in the card base. Then all you do is die cut all the pieces you want for you toolbox and then adhere them as you see fit.
