There are some Christmas cards that seem to tell a story the moment you look at them… and I think this little fellow has a very important Christmas tale to tell. ❤️
Meet my little Christmas mouse!
He’s standing proudly beside the Christmas tree, holding a beautifully wrapped present as though he has just completed the most important mission of the holiday season:

And judging by that sweet little smile, I think he’s pretty pleased with himself.
This card is packed with cozy Christmas charm, combining traditional Cherry Cobbler and Peaceful Pine with touches of Balmy Blue and layers of wonderfully nostalgic patterns.
The Christmas tree is decorated with cheerful red ornaments and topped with a golden star, while our little mouse is holding a present almost as big as he is!
Honestly, I think he's adorable. ❤️
🎄 A Little Christmas Magic in Every Layer
I wanted this card to have that cozy, old-fashioned Christmas morning feeling, so I layered several different patterns and textures together.
The plaid background creates the perfect little Christmas setting, while the blue textured layer adds dimension and helps the centre of the card stand out.
And those candy canes peeking out from the background?
Just enough Christmas sweetness without making the card feel too busy. 🍬🎄
The mouse, tree and presents become the little Christmas story in the centre of the card, with the Merry Christmas sentiment bringing everything together at the bottom.
