We’ll Walrus Be FriendsBirthday Card
Loving this adorable stamp set - We'll Walrus Be Friends! I particularly love the way this card turned out. I brayered three different colors of blue (Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray & Pacific Point) on to whisper white card stock and stamped the little fishies into the water. I then used my clear wink of Stella to cover the surface of the fish to make them sparkle. Both walruses are stamped in Memento and colored with Stampin' Blends (Light & dark Smoky Slate). And for an added touch I added the wink of Stella to the walruses. I hope you enjoy my card. Receive a video tutorial for this card when you place a min. $50 net online order from me!

Tracie can you explain your brayer technique to me please. I don’t quite get a visual. Thank you

Hi Janet
ReplyDeleteWhat I do is I take the silicone mat and I press it into an ink pad. I start with the lightest colour first. And I roll the sponge brayer through the ink on the silicone mat until it’s fully loaded. Then I start rolling it across the card stock making sure I will completely roll from one side to the other side. I lift the brayer, come back to the edge I started at and roll over again. I repeat this process several times with the lightest color. And I do the same thing with their next color. Only instead of starting at the bottom I start a little bit higher. I will then add a third colour to complete the brayering. It’s technique is something you really have to play with. You will get a different effect every time.
