Hello there! Thanks for stopping by For The Love Of Stamping! Welcome to the Dec 2020 Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop where we are showcasing new products from either the Jan to June mini catalog or the SAB catalog. I am so excited to share with you my card featuring a new set of dies and DSP coming in Jan 2021.
The new dies are called Suit & Tie and the DSP is Well Suited.
So here is what I am liking.
- The DSP is stunning! Awesome color pallet for masculine cards consisting of Basic Grey, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Cajun Craze and Poppy Parade!
- The Suit & Die dies are so much fun! - 3 different ties, suspenders & buckles, pocket, buttons and a hanky.
- Co-ordinating stamp set.
- So many uses - both masculine and feminine.
Now this card isn't what it seems. I have made into a fun double slider card. This is so apropos for 2020. Many of us, working from home, "dressed" from the waist up - lol.
Having seen a card by The Victoria Paper Shaper where she did a flip card got me to thinking about how to make this into a slider card. It took a bit of doing to get everything aligned, but in the end it came together. PHEW! If you aren't familiar with a slider card, the intent is to hide a portion of the card so that when you pull on a particular piece it will reveal a "surprise" - such as the shorts and legs for my card.
You can see how to create a double slider card on Splitcoaststampers here.
Supplies used to create this card:
- Well Suited DSP
- Night of Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White, Petal Pink cardstock
- Suite & Tie dies
I hope you have enjoyed stopping by my blog. Be sure to continue your blog hop journey onto the next blog.
This is fabulous - love it!
