Stamping With Friends - Card Sketch Challenge - Birthday Cards

Hello and welcome to For The Love of Stamping and the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. The month we have been challenged to use a card sketch with a Birthday theme.

Here is the card sketch I have chosen as a guide to create my card.

I am using a new stamp/die bundle called Encircled In Friendship because it is simply elegant! And what is even more elegant? The Love You Always Foil Sheets and the Love you Always Specialty DSP. Be sure to pick up a couple of packs before they retire at the end of June!

Here is how I made this card.

  1. Start with Sahara Sand for the base.
  2. Run a white layer through your die cutting machine with the Stitched Greenery die (so pretty) and adhere to base.
  3. Adhere a strip of the Love You Always Specialty DSP to he right side of the white layer.
  4. Die cut the medallion from the the Encircled In Beauty dies using the Love You Always Foil. Adhere to card front as shown,
  5. Die cut a white circle using the Layering Circle dies.
  6. Stamp the floral image from Encircled in Friendship in Memento ink and color with Stampin' Blends
    1. Light Flirty Flamingo
    2. Light Crumb Cake
    3. Light Soft Succulent
  7.  Adhere to the center of your medallion.
  8. Cut a strip of the specialty DSP (1/2" x 3 1/2") and punch each end with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
  9. Stamp sentiment using Stazon ink. (sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set).
  10. To finish the card I have used some Pastel Pearls and Opal Rounds.
Please continue your journey onto the next hop stop.
