~For The Love of Stamping~: Ink~Stamp~Share Christmas In July Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to For the Love Of Stamping and the Ink~Stamp~Share Christmas in July Blog Hop!

A couple of weeks ago I participated in another "Christmas In July" blog hop for Stampin' Dreams. I shared a poinsettia card that was die cut in So Saffron with a touch of white around the edges. You can see it here.

Today I am doing a play on that card but this time using Blackberry Bliss and Petal Pink. I love this color combo! The Petal Pink Poinsettia has been edged with Blackberry Bliss using the Blending Brushes®. Oh this is SO PRETTY!

Once all the petals had been inked, I adhered them together with dimensionals between each layer. The center of the poinsettia is another one of the Poinsettia dies, die cut from Evening Evergreen and completed with 7 gold metallic pearls.

Under the poinsettia I have used the Shimmery Vellum in Fresh Freesia and a new die called Christmas Pine Cone which I adhered to the Encircled in Beauty die cut in Blackberry Bliss.

I then die cut 3 of the smaller leaves from the Poinsettia dies in Evening Evergreen and added Wink of Stella to complete the poinsettia.

The base layer is a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock with a Pearlescent paper matting that was run through my die cutting machine with a new embossing folder ~ Merry Melody 3D EF.
