~For The Love of Stamping~: Stamping With Friends Card Challenge

Hello! Welcome to For The Love Of Stamping and Stamping Friends Slimline Card Challenge!

Today is my birthday and how fitting is it that for this blog hop I am doing a Birthday card!

I love the Slimline card design. Given that it is not your typical size it needs a business size envelop.

I have chosen to use the new Expressions in Ink DSP from the Expressions in Ink suite for my card. This paper is so beautiful. It features a water washed look with gold accents.

Every sheet is stunning!.

The Expressions in Ink suite includes a stamp/die bundle and a Ephemera pack (gold die accents) and the stunning Expressions In Ink DSP.

The finished card measures 8” x 3 1/2".

To create the card start by layering a piece of Just Jade measuring 3-3/8" x 7-7/8" cardstock on the card base (8" x 6" - folded to 8" x 3").

Cut a piece of the DSP at 3-1/4" x 7-3/4" and adhere to the Just Jade layer.

Next layer a die cut of gold foil using the floral spray from the Artistic dies and adhere this directly on the Just Jade layer.

Next, stamp the greeting in Evening Evergreen and die cut using the new Tailor Made Tags dies.

Add a piece of the Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon through the hole in the tag and pop it up on dimensionals. Place a gold Gilded Gem over the hole of the tag.

The final touch is to add some new in color jewels (also Evening Evergreen).
