I love using the Stampin' Up!® Blending Brushes. Not only are they super soft but they make blending ink a breeze. If you don't have some YOU NEED to get them!
Last night as I was falling asleep this design popped into my mind and I knew that I wanted to make this card for this hop today.
The card base is Basic Black with a layer of Basic White (4-1/8" x 5-3/8").
I started with Basic White cardstock (4" c 5-1/4") and chose shades of purple and a navy as my color pallet. The base color is Fresh Freesia followed with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and finally Night of Navy.
Once the color dried I added the die cuts from the Artistic dies (I can't seem to put these down!). I die cut from Black Glimmer paper which is returning in the Autumn/Winter mini catalog - SO EXCITED about this!.
I stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Craft White on Basic Black cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. I fussy cut the sentiment and popped it up on dimensionals. I love how it pops off the card. I added some black sewing thread behind the greeting and colored some rhinestone in with a Black Stampin' Blends.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope I have inspired you to use the blending brushes to create amazing backgrounds. Be sure to continue your blog hop journey to see other fabulous creations with ink!
Happy stamping!
Hugs,
Tracie
