Hippest Hippos - SAB

Hello and welcome to For The Love of Stamping. My name is Tracie

St-Louis and I have been an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 16 years! Over the years SU has offered many Sale-A-Bration promotions and coming in July & August is the next one. With that in mind I wanted to share with you a couple of the products that you can earn for free with a net $60 order. There are 2 free items that I am using on my card - Hippest Hippos and Hippo dies. These images are super cute and easy to color. 

I created a background with Sunshine dies (Hello Bluebird) using So Saffron cardstock and ink blended Mango Melody around the edges of the sun and sunrays. Using the same die I cut out some clouds (Basic White) and added a touch of Mango Melody along the top edge. These were layered onto Basic White which I had first ink blended the background with Balmy Blue ink.

Assembly

• Adhere the sun, rays and clouds to the card base
• Die cut a rectangle frame for the card using Rectangle Stitched dies and adhere with foam tape.
• Stamp the sentiment in Memento ink
• Die cut the blades of grass (Parakeet Party - Elephant Parade bundle) for the bottom edge of the frame & adhere with Tombow glue
• Stamp & die cut the hippos (Hippest Hippos) & butterflies (Elephant Parade).
• Color with Stampin' Blends & pop them up on dimensionals.
• Position on your card.
