Ink. Stamp. Share. July 2020 Special Blog Hop

Welcome to Ink, Stamp, Share Special Blog Hop. I am excited to share with you my slimline card.
I have been seeing all kinds of slimline cards all over the internet. They are definitely unique in size and are super easy to make. The base is 7" x 8 1/2"  - which I have used the thick Whisper White card stock - and fold in half on the 7" side.  I then layered a piece of Pacific Point that measures 3-1/4" x 8-1/4".

I used a sponge technique with glycerin to create the clouds. First I created a template for the clouds by cutting a piece of card stock with one of the dies from the Happy dies and then  sponged Balmy Blue ink  mixed with glycerin ink onto Whisper White card stock. Here is a link to  sponging with glycerin technique
To create the height for the letters I used the new foam adhesive sheets , layered a piece of rainbow glimmer paper on top and ran through my die cutting machine with the Playful Alphabet dies. The balloons were also die cut with the Happy dies and the rainbow glimmer paper.
This is a fun and quick card to make and I hope I have inspired you to make one as well. Be sure to hop over to the next blog for more fun ideas.
