Stampin Dreams July Blog Hop - Masculine Cards

Welcome to the July Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop!
This months theme is Masculine cards - any occasion.
So I thought I would try something I hadn't done in a VERY long time!
I thought a water color wash would be fun (and "summery") so I used shimmery white card stock, one of the new water painters and 3 colors of ink - Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana & Just Jade.
Wow!  I love these colors together!  I have to admit that I am somewhat surprised at how the Pacific Point appears to be more of a Turquoise (I miss Tempting Turquoise).  Love it!!

I wanted to keep my card "relatively" simple, but I can't seem to help myself and so what is a card without glimmer paper and gems!  Check out this gorgeous new glimmer paper from Stampin' Up! RAINBOW GLIMMER PAPER!!!!  LOVE IT!!  The little gems on the card are a new item coming in the mini Aug - Dec catalog (you can order them in Aug) - they are call Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems - so cute!
To create the sparkly seaweed, I used the dies from Smooth Sailing with the RAINBOW  glimmer paper (squealing inside!) and adhered them on the bottom corners of my card.
I hope that you enjoy my water color wash creation! All these items used on my card can be purchased from my online store.  Be sure to keep your hop journey going and hop on over to the next blog for more "manly" inspiration!
Don't miss out on my Birthday Bash gift to you!
Only during the month of July - I will refund the shipping of your online order.
