~For The Love of Stamping~: Kre8tors August Blog Hop

Welcome to the August Kre8tor blog hop. Our theme this month is "Anniversary", which is perfect timing for me as I celebrated my 26th wedding anniversary on the 6th! No travel plans this year! So glad that my hubby and I were able to go to Las Vegas last year for our 25th!

Here is the card that I created for my hubby for our Anniversary. It features a new stamp bundle from the Aug. to Dec holiday catalog. The stamp set is called Have a Hoot and it really is a "hoot". Such adorable images!
I got a little creative with the greeting as the actual stamp reads, "Owl I want for Christmas is you." What I did, was stamp the greeting and then use the Classic Label punch to capture only what I needed for my greeting. The sky was sponged with Balmy Blue ink and glycerin to give a smooth finish.

Cardstock & DSP: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, In Good Taste DSP, Balmy Blue
Ink & Blends: (Ink) Memento, Balmy Blue, (Blends Combo) Ivory & Bronze
Stamps: Have a Hoot
Dies: Peek-a-Hoot, Stitched Be Mine
Other: Classic Label, Flowers for Every Season Gems
