Front Flip Fun Fold Card - Curvy dies

Welcome to my blog and to another installment of the Quite Curvy samples. Today I have made a fun fold card called "Front Flip Fun Fold Card" - say that fast 5 times!

This is a unique fold in that it has 2 panels that open up, one towards the left and the other to the right.  It was a labor of love to make this card. It had many "facelifts" as I tried to get it just the way I wanted it.

The white layer opens to the left. I have die cut the layer and embossed it with the Winter Snow embossing folder.

I also stamped a greeting from "Tag Buffet" on white cardstock and then used the Banners pick a punch to flag both ends of the greeting. The greeting was stamped in Night of Navy ink.

The second panel opens to the right. This layer was embossed with Winter Snow and die cut with the Curvy dies. It also has several pine trees that were stamped in Night of Navy and die cut with Pine Wood dies (each have some dazzling diamond glitter ~retired ~ to make them sparkle).

The 2 trees in the back were stamped off first. The greeting, again, is from Tag Buffet and then die cut with one of the dies from Detailed Bands.  Finally the inside also uses the Tag Buffet (greeting) and Pine Wood dies - this time I completed the 2 step stamping to fill in the trees ~ and added some glitter to make them sparkle. The navy layer in the background was embossed with the Winter Snow EF.

These layers were layered onto a Navy card base with a white insert (not shown here)

Check out this quick video I did to show how the front of the card opens up.
