2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today you have joined in on the 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog Blog Hop.
It is always so exciting to get the new catalog. As a demonstrator I received it at the beginning of April. So I have been ogling over it since then and today I get to share a project that I created with it!!
I decided to use the Color and Contour bundle that can be found on page 98. I love, love, love this bundle.

For some time now I have been playing with a technique that uses Isopropyl and Stampin' Blends. The key to this technique is you MUST use a high alcohol concentrate percent or it won't dry. I have used 99% Isopropyl and it works like a charm. I tried 50% concentrated  - no go and also 70% concentrated  - also no go. So if you wish to try this tech - 90% or higher is definitely required.
Another tip I want to share with you is when choosing your Blend colors - use the "dark" shade (opposed to the light) as they show much better than the lighter ones.
Here are the list of supplies you will need to make this card.
  • Fresh Freesia (base), Vellum, Night  of Navy, & Basic White cardstock.
  • Color & Contour bundle
  • Many Messages bundle (sentiment)
  • Isopropyl 90% concentrate or higher.
I hope you have enjoyed stopping by. Be sure to continue your blog hop journey to the next talented demonstrator - Sara Sayers

  3. It’s been on my ‘list’ to give this technique a try. Thanks for the tip on 99% alcohol. The one I have is 79% so I’ll have to go find the higher one. Great card!
