Pampered Pets Slimline Cards

So slimline cards seem to be all the rage these days and so what better time to give it a go. They are easy to make but the layout can be tricky to get it balanced. I tried several combinations of images and finally landed on two. I am still on the fence as to which one I prefer so I figured I would post both. Which one do you prefer? I would really love your input.
Here is what I have used to make the cards.
Cardstock: Whisper white thick, black glimmer paper (yay it's back in the holiday catalog!), Playful Pets DSP
Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays, Pampered Pets
Dies: Happy, Pets
Ink: White Craft, Flirty Flamingo
Misc: Black Dimensionals, Flirty Flamingo & Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, White embossing powder

I have to admit that I really fussed with the "Happy". To do this I cut the Black Glitter paper at 3-1/8" x 8-1/8" and the Playful Pets at 3" x 8". I used the "Happy" dies to center the letters in the middle of the Playful Pets DSP. I layered this onto the black glimmer paper exposing letters in the white base. I then cut a 2nd "Happy" in white and sponged them with Flirty Flamingo ink and adhered them over top of the white letters. Still not 100% "happy" with the look I then cut one more layer in black glimmer paper and popped them up on black dimensionals - offsetting them to exposed the flirty flamingo layer in the back, ultimately creating a shadow effect. Now I am "happy" - lol.
