Ink~Stamp~Share Monthly Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Ink~Stamp~Share Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Autumn/Fall/Halloween projects.

So I have 2 projects for you. The first is using the Curvy Celebrations Bundle that will be available Nov. 1.

I have used white and mossy meadow as the base and then added some fall colors - pumpkin pie, mango melody and cherry cobbler.

The leaves along the curve were die cut in various colors and then inserted individually into the cut out. A bit fussy but I love the additional color. This bundle is amazing and I can't wait for you to see it.  More to come in later posts.

My 2nd project I decided to create a Halloween treat box using the Have A Hoot stamp/die bundle. I just adore this bundle and love the versatility.  I have to be honest, it has been a long time since I have done a treat box for Halloween. I used to make things like this for colleagues at work, but with COVID19 still looming over us, I am working from home. So this one I will give myself.

I enjoyed making this project. I started with the tiny treat box and put a small piece of foam in the bottom. I have layered in some chocolates and caramels into the box.

Using the Peek-A-Hoot dies I cut out a few of the shapes in various colors - Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black,  Black Glitter paper, Whisper White and Plaid Tidings DSP to make a "base" for either the greeting or the stamped images from the Have A Hoot stamp set. I used Stampin' Blends to color the images - colors used are Ivory, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie &Mango Melody.  Each shape has been adhered to a Floral Wire (Wilton) and stuck into the foam at the bottom of the box.

The ghosts were created by inking up the Old World Paper embossing folder with Smoky Slate ink and running the die cut through my die cutting machine. Love the effect!  The black ovals were some pieces that I had left over from the 2 "O's" from the "Boo". These letters were die cut using the Playful Alphabet dies and black glitter paper. The googly eyes bring the ghost to life!

The ribbons used are glitter organdy ribbon and metallic mesh ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween treat box project. Please continue your hopping journey to the next blog. Next up is Alison Carter
