April Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Welcome to For The Love Of Stamping and the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop! Our challenge this month is based on this sketch.

For my project I am using some new products from the 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog. I am super excited for the launch of this catalog as there are so many amazing new products!  If you live in Canada and would like a copy, please leave me a comment or send me a request using the "Contact Me" on the left side bar.

Color and Contour
Lately I have being playing around with a fun technique that uses Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl. I used this technique to create the
panel on the front of my card. Because it has a marble look to it I decided that the base (Fresh Freesia) needed a similar texture so I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Painted Texture EF
The sentiment has been stamped in Night of Navy, but I stamped the flower from Color and Contours in Fresh Freesia (stamped off to lighten the color).  I like that this helps to take away some of the "starkness" from the white cardstock. The sentiment was die cut using the layering circle dies with an additional scallop circle layer in gold foil placed behind the circle. I have tied in the gold foil with the sprig punch and added some pastel pearls around the bottom edge of the sentiment. I hope that you enjoy my project and would love to hear your thoughts!  Please leave me a comment below.
