Ink-Stamp-Share February Monthly Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to For The Love of Stamping and the Ink-Stamp-Share Monthly Blog Hop. This month we are doing a sketch challenge using this sketch.
So one of my new favorite bundles is the Soaring Swallows. I feel that it is a multipurpose bundle. I can use it for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, thinking of you and so much more!
Check out my other posts with this bundle -  one here and the other here

This card is geared towards the avid stamper but encourage every level of stampers to give it a try. I has multiple layers and techniques including 2 step stamping and color blending to create the clouds in the background.
Soaring Swallows

To make this 3 panel card you will need white & Balmy Blue cardstock, Soaring Swallows bundle, die cut machine, a sentiment, blending brush, sponge dauber, double oval punch, adhesives and ribbon

Steps:
  1. Begin with a white card base.
  2. Layer Balmy Blue on top (4 1/8" x 5 3/8").
  3. Create the clouds on a layer of white cardstock (4" x 5 1/4").
    1. Make the cloud template with the Basic Border dies and blend Balmy Blue ink with a Blending Brush.
    2. Cut this into 3 strips - outer panels are 1" wide, inner panel is 2" wide.
    3. Adhere to blue layer.
  4. Stamp and die cut the swallows - adhere with dimensionals.
    1. The base color is Balmy Blue and the overlay is Pacific Point
    2. Color the tips of the wings with clear Wink of Stella.
  5. Die cut the branch (Soft Seafoam) and flowers (Blush - sponge around edges with Polished Pink & then clear Wink of Stella)
    1. Adhere with mono liquid glue.
  6. Stamp greeting (Forever Blossoms) and punch out with Double Oval punch. Adhere to Balmy Blue Scallop Oval and then to the card with dimensionals.
  7. Tie and adhere a 3 loop bow (Organdy Striped Ribbon) and adhere with a glue dot.
I would love to hear what you think by leaving me a comment below.
Happy stamping!
Hugs, Tracie
